Mail List Command Help
Mail List Policies
- This is a self-serve Internet mail list. All subscribers must maintain their own personal mail list subscription. Subscribers are not authorized to perform any maintenance on anyone else's subscription or e-mail address. Subscribers are not
authorized to enroll group addresses or mail repeaters to the Reform Access SF mail list.
- Neither Reform Access SF, The Lone Liberal, nor anyone else, has not added any subscriber to this mail list. The Lone Liberal does periodically remove subscriptions that have had repeated mail delivery problems.
- Reform Access SF's Internet mail list is never sold, rented, lent, exchanged, or used for any other purpose than official Reform Access SF activity. Reform Access SF's Internet mail list is used by Reform Access SF for periodic announcements of new
information, and on occasion by Reform Access SF to notify subscribers of late breaking news concerning Access SF. Reform Access SF may elect to send subscribers mailings from other groups, but these mailings will always originate with Reform Access
SF.
- Reform Access SF does not charge subscribers for being subscribed to this mail list.

Troubleshooting
Your subscription to our mail list can be managed with the email client of your choice.
You may manually invoke your email client, then type in the email message's TO: address and SUBJECT: fields, as described above.
If you use the links (above), the email message's TO: address and SUBJECT: fields are filled in for you. Most web browsers are configured to invoke an external mail client when needed (i.e., Microsoft Internet Explorer invoking Microsoft Outlook).
Some web browsers can be configured to invoke an embedded mail client (i.e., Netscape Navigator invoking Netscape Messenger). If your browser is not invoking your mail client, you will need to ask your software vendor for assistance in configuring your
browser and email client to work together.
Your mail client may need to be configured to send and receive email messages. Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) will need to provide you with the necessary configuration information (i.e., SMTP server, POP/IMAP server, user ID, password, your
email address), and your software vendor may need to assist you in configuring your email client program with the information provided by your ISP. If you can send and receive mail from your friends, then you should have no problems maintaining your mail
list subscription with our server.
There are some ISPs out there that have a proprietary email client that can not be invoked from a web browser, and they may forbid you from using any other email client other than the proprietary one that they provide for you. If you fell victim to
that practise, then you must manually invoke your email client, then type in the email message's TO: address and SUBJECT: fields, as described above.
When your mail message, containing the TO: address and SUBJECT: fields is sent, there may be a slight delay (30 minutes) for our server to respond. You may receive a reply from our server requesting a confirmation. That confirmation message must be
sent from you (via a reply) before your original request becomes effective. It is very important that the original request and the confirmation reply both be sent using the identical FROM: address.
