No Zane Reform Access SF No SFCTC

My Plan to Open Access SF on Mondays

I believe the Access SF facilities should be open to the public everyday of the week. That goal would require more funding than is currently available. While employed at Access SF, I offered a simple proposal to open the facility for limited use on Mondays that would not cost anything other than a change in mind set. Zane wouldn't even acknowledge my proposal.

Zane:

I propose that we extend public hours to Monday for limited services. We already have numerous staff personal on-site on Mondays, including yourself, Bobby, Sam, Aaron, Marc, and Sade. With so many staff already available, I see no reason why we can't offer limited services, with the exclusion of the main studio. Bobby can do checkout, Flash Studio, and Edit Suites, as he does on other days. Other staff members can handle the reception and tape drop-off.

Having checkout on Monday, would offer more checkout opportunities, since equipment can be rotated more often in the week by allowing equipment check-in and check-out on Monday eliminates the 4-day (double) check-out allowed when checking out Friday through Tuesday. The Flash Studio and Edit Suites do not require intensive staffing that may be needed when the Main Studio in in use.
